No idea why, as it was just a livestream link that probably isn't hot anymore anyway. Very weird. It showed up in My Posts, but it didn't bump, as you said. No idea what its real position is and actually don't care. I suspect trollery.

8. I think the limit is on the number of active threads in a particular forum/group.

Each forum or group can have 30 pages of active threads which will be kicked to the top of the forum/group if replied to, but after any thread drops past page 30 it is considered archived and will no longer be moved to the top of the forum/group when a reply is posted.

This means that fast moving forums will archive threads rather quickly (e.g. days or weeks) and forums/groups with little activity will not have reached the 30 page limit yet and therefore any thread in those forums/groups would get kicked to the top if someone posts a reply.
