Why does the "trending now" box...

... disappear sometimes? It has happened occasionally in the past. This time it left during the debate, so I assumed it was due to a heavy traffic load on the servers. But then it didn't come back for several days after the debates. This morning, in fact.

Just curious what the story is. It's one of my quick reads each day.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly, the two titles on the left were "trending now" &/or "greatest threads".
Maybe their names are different, but they were the first two groups of headlines I look for. The headlines are/were in blue.

I thought the same thing during the last couple of debates, but it hasn't come back. Once this morning, it was there, but when I clicked on the first thread, read it, & clicked back, it was gone again.

For the past several days, I've clicked on the "Latest Threads" tab at the top, but there are just too many threads to wade thru. So many, in fact, that I did nothing else, which would cause me to leave in frustration.

by going to my inbox. You can do a search there, so I typed in his name & clicked on "Send DU mail", I think it was.

But alas, I still don't have enough posts to initiate a personal note.

Sen. McGovern's story has been the top story all day. I liked him, & am even old enough to have voted for him, which I did, but I'd like to see the old format.

Also missing is the "Cool" section.

Hope it stays, & hope you got it, too.

"Cool" is still missing, but I can live with that.
