I was a member years and years ago, but I was basically a lurker forever. When access was limited during the debates, I tried to remember my log-in information, but you know how that goes. Anyway, I opened a new account and am now trying to make sure I sign in and comment occasionally, but I suspect I'm still a lurker at heart.

Anyway, I'm Chloe and I live in the great DC area in Virginia. I will make a real effort to be more active. Hello to everyone.

I tried to go back and find an old posting of mine... All I could remember posting about was an elephant painting a picture on youtube. I think it was in 2006. (sigh) I'm not sure what my alias would have been, but I would have used my real first name in my profile. Your nickname seems familiar. I don't know if we've spoken before, but I'm sure I've read some of your posts.

Thanks! I'm going to read it after I get back from the store. (I need to stock up on some things before the storm hits.) On another note, I just remembered why I tend to lurk instead of posting. LOL. I get pissed off too easily at some of the comments. (Deep breath...it's only the internet after all.) I think it's because I'm not a "real" democrat, although I vote that way a lot. I'm a Libertarian and sometimes we just disagree on some issues.

Oh well.

I'll try to be less of a lurker. (I'm not quite as intimidated by the internet as I used to be.) It's good to meet an independent. I'm a little bit intrigued by some Libertarian groups and candidates. They have some very interesting points and I always try to keep an open mind.
