Over 200 Posts Now But Never Said "Hello"
Whats up people!
Lifelong TEXAS Democrat here!
I live in a very very conservative part of the state but I try my best to get others here to "see the light". I'm a left tilting centrist for the most part. My first political experience was doing ground work for the Ann Richards campaign in high school and she was one of the best , most courageous women of our time!
The main reasons I support the Democratic Party and Obama/Biden 2012 is:
-Healthcare/Pre-Existing Conditions (my wife has cancer)
-I believe in President Obama's foreign policy and I do not wish to be a country that is seen as strike first ask questions later
-I believe that under the circumstances given to him, President Obama has done a good enough job to warrant re-election.
-I believe the next President will get 2 SCOTUS nominations, and if Romney is elected, Roe V Wade is GONE.
-I KNOW (I'm a small business owner) that the economy is getting a lot better and we need to stay on track with what we are doing. Even as a small business owner I am willing/wanting to pay a little more in taxes than everyone else because its for the greater good. I don't believe in a huge huge increase because there is something to be said for ongoing investment from small business, but I do believe in an increase.
Anyway, Love the message board and I hope to God we can pull this out in November.
