Hi

I sorta know how you feel. Even though many people I meet here in Oregon seem to be progressive I don't have the problem of finding someone I can talk to here. But, I just got off the phone with my brother in Virginia and am shocked.

He used to be a perfectly normal Democrat. What happened? Fox News and a.m. radio has destroyed his mind.

I was at a complete loss of words as I listened to Fox News Sound bites coming out of his mouth for nearly 30 minutes.

I've been having a hard time sleeping because I can't figure out how the heck do you talk to someone who has been brainwashed. I've never been so angry at Fox News as I am now for messing up my brother's head.

This is getting personal.

About Libya or anything else they are speeding is "if you watch Fox News, there is no way I can continue cause your just lying you don't work with facts."

I find it odd now that some of the right wingers I talk to come back with "I don't watch Fox News" almost like they know its a shit channel that has been debunked yet all the stuff they talk about is right from there, but I know hannity and rush are all on the same page--I know what on the rw shows cause they are all seething the same bs.

Anyway sorry to go off on a tirade! Thanks for welcoming me!

I'm from Dayton OH and I just joined. Thought this would be a fun place as most of my other online friends stay to themselves and don't say much.
