Hello-I need guidance...

Can anyone tell me how to collapse the list on the left composed of the different groups, subscriptions, topics, etc.?

I used to only get this on the home page, I thought, but now see it on every page. I'd prefer to have more room to read what's posted if that's possible.

1. I think I can help, my dear babylonsister!

Click on the tab "My Account." There you will see Preferences. One of these is "Preferred format for regular web browsers." Click on Classic! It's under "settings."

That's what I have, and I get the stuff you are talking about only on the Home page, and on the Latest Thread page.

5. I have no idea why my format changed but it did so thank you for explaining so simply what to do....

8. Add another thank you. Membership just expired and after I donated, the view changed

Was confused for a bit about the difference. I wasn't sure if some change to the format had occurred at the same time as my membership was up and I renewed it.

Your clear response here helped me regain my preferred view (must have forgotten that I had ever done that in the first place).

I wonder why the reset of preferences occurs though.

4. I thought I was going absolutely nuts...I couldn't make the page look right....

So for the first time ever I come here and the third thread is the same problem as mine. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have no idea why my format was switched but I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!
