On DU2 though, the "View All" began at 20 posts. Maybe that's what you're remembering!

Flames (often flame wars) mean that the post has at least 50 replies. You will find that many of the posts with flames have some controversy, or at least someone posting in the thread who starts a controversy. I used to get caught up in the posts with flames, but have found that often there is nothing much to learn there, just a mess. Don't get too caught up in them, since many very good posts do not get to that level.

So far in my favorite group: Public Transportation and Smart Growth, there are no flame wars... and somehow I doubt they will even happen!

But there are a lot of groups here and you are right....there are few flames in most of the groups. In fact, it is easy to keep up with every single post. You just don't get that much action in Frugal and Energy Efficient Living, but it beats the Birders group.
