(21,642 posts)Turns out, that saying is busted. Although the Mythbusters got a little alarmed, the bulls didn't break a thing. So maybe you're alarming, but not actually harmful.
Here's an example of usage from "Maine Lingo" by John Gould"
"Ain't he the boy broke your plow, smashed your cart, lost the forty-quart can down the well, and got your Edie in a family way?"
"Ayeh."
"Gormy cuss, ain't he?"
