OK. Here I am again.

What does nt or n/t or NT or N/T mean? I assume they are all the same. But you know that they say about assume(ing).

I have been reading a fairly long and somewhat hostile thread on Meta and these "abbreviations" were used quite frequently.

This means that there is nothing written down here where the message text goes.

And yes, they are all the same.

Hey Tim,
Sounds like you are getting used to it soon enough. Heck, I was a member for like 8 years before I even clicked on Meta once, hehe

Some of the abbreviations I would just google to figure them out if I was really curious, otherwise I would just move on. Ones that I looked up were IIRC and IBTL.

One thing I like is that for the most part, the threads are fleeting and updated quite often, but then I also like some Lounge threads that hang around for a few days or longer.

Good luck, and peace.

I have wikied a few. And also just move on. Meta is quite a place. Dangerous it seems.

Hibbing! I used to live near there. Babbitt.
