That's why we have the jury blacklist. It's only for posts you write. Speaking of the jury blacklist, I need to check mine for inactives/PPR's (edit: removed two/added two).

If I put someone on my jury blacklist, does that mean I cannot serve as a juror for their posts?

I've just started using ignore. I had it up to here with bullshit and broke down. I'm much happier for it.

You can still serve on juries for their posts. I'm not quite positive on that. I can't recall ever being called though for someone I had on ignore - so maybe not both ways. It's confusing.

The best way to not get posts hidden is to avoid the name-calling even if it's true, that's how they get ya.

Edit: But yes, put people on ignore, it will make your DU experience better - and make sure to let them know too so you don't see "you have this poster on ignore" responses to your posts.

In my view, the purpose of ignore is simply to ignore. Plus, I'll confess a bit of satisfaction in their not realizing i have them on ignore as they continue to follow me around, trying to goad me. Those are the people I have on ignore, the ones that seem to make a point of seeking me out to respond hostility.

I know that we can't serve on juries of those on our ignore list. That's why I held out so long. That's on the page that has TOS. But it doesn't say anything about those on your jury blacklist.

I guess then the jury blacklist is for people you don't have on ignore who you don't want on your jury. I'm going to have amend mine.

It was actually quite funny. He finally got over it and was banned a couple of years later.
