1. You might ask in ATA...

Elad might know.

2. Thank you. I just rebooted after a little 'rest'....I'm crossing my fingers!

If not, I'll try ATA.

4. Me either. I see on my computer in Task Manager that Adobe

flash is stopped! Also, yesterday it updated to install the latest version....now this problem here at DU. I don't know if it's related or not. Still looking. I love DU videos and I am very upset by this problem.

5. I received Windows updates early in the morning

At the same time, I know DU admins have been making some changes to the site. So I'm giving it a little time before doing anything.

In the meantime, You can capture the url of those black squares and post it in your address box to try going to a video you want to see. That doesn't show me the video, but the title shows up on my tab and I can get to it by searching the title on google or youtube.

Good luck!

6. Exactly...that's what I've been doing too....but what a pain!

Good luck to you too and thanks for the info about the DU changes....I've also had trouble for months with photos or graphics over laying text in the reply section of threads. But I know how to get a around it...still a pain.

7. Ha! I've had the overlapping issue, too!

I haven't found a permanent fix, but refreshing the page eliminates the overlapping when I encounter it. And at least that's a lot simpler than looking up a black square video!

8. Yep. Sometimes I have to hightlight the entire area and then refresh but it works except

when it plays havoc on jury duty! Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Edit: Do you find yourself being a bit more selective in which videos you view? I do...ha!
