Ok I am new here, finally able to post an intro!
My dad(TheStraitStory) got me involved in politics a few years ago, but just recently talked me into signing up for DU. My political views have changed quite a bit since I first got involved in politics, for the better I think. I support a platform of fairness, and helping the American people. It's not so much a party or candidate thing for me, but rather who will do the job of representing the people as they are supposed to. Politics as usual has become really irritating, and right now there are elements of both parties that upset me.
That being said, I have a passion for college football, so if there is any sports threads on here I may put my 2 cents in 
I have a wonderful family, a wife and 3 great kids, and I am just trying to live the American dream. I hope to make some friends on here and have some good, solid debates with people.
