click on "Transparency" but they took away your ignores.

Seems there was some thought that it caused angst, or some other problems.

I've always found the "ignore" function juvenile. You don't like someone, don't read his posts. With so many here, who needs to ready annoying posts?

In a wider perspective, I would like to see DU a place for exchange of ideas and information. A place where if you disagree with someone that you can rebut the argument.

And... I would like to think that DUers are wise and mature adults who are self confident enough not to be bothered by what others think of them. Especially anonymously on web pages.

Sadly, the recommend function and the not dearly departed unrecommend were often used based on the poster, not on the post..

Sigh..
