(4,437 posts)2. Thanx for the reply, but I already did that. I'm also getting "that forum is offline" when I try to
open greatest threads all of a sudden. Any more ideas?

(8,543 posts)5. Is Javascript turned off in your browser?
You can check by going to your profile page and clicking on the Edit link next to Profile information - if it goes to a no-javascript-version.shtml page instead of displaying fields to enter profile information then javascript is not running in your browser.
Some methods of blocking ads may also prevent the Twitter, Facebook and Google+ icons from being displayed.
I believe the "that forum is offline" error was a temporary glitch with the DU servers a while back and is completely unrelated to the social media icon issue.
