(3,691 posts)I want to move off auto pay too. They have charged my account twice and yet could not manage to respond to my repeated messages asking them why they failed to give me a star. They have charged me the $42 again which is twice in an 8 month period. I can't believe you have to work so hard to find out how to stop the automatic deductions.

(3,691 posts)I have a number of issues with the DU auto pay system. They give you no notice that they are about to deduct the payment until it has been completed and the notification is only posted in your DU mail box. All other sites that I support send me a notice ahead of time to my personal E-mail and you can find out how to stop or change the payments on their site. I did not sign up for recurring payments or if I did I certainly didn't realize it.
I have sent an e-mail to Earlg and Skinner at the contact addresses noted and will let you know if I hear back. I was going to post a question in the Admin Forum but there are messages sitting there that are a month old and have never been approved to be posted so you can see what the actual question is which raises the question why do these posted questions and comments have to be vetted and approved before being made public. This does not strike me as a site being well managed. Well at least they assigned my star this time around.
PS I also looked to see if I could block a payee from my PayPal account but it doesn't seem like I can.
