Please give the small groups a try. There's something for everyone, I am certain.

If it is cooking, photography, cars, spiritualism, health, gender, pets, state-centric issues, activism, or any of, literally, hundreds of topics, give the small groups a try.

They're a great way to meet other DUers and to have a chance to share what you know about a given topic. Except for a very few such groups, they are incredibly welcoming to newcomers.

No matter your interest, there is a place for you on DU. More likely, there are any number of places for you on DU.
