I've been looking for a forum like this for a long time.

I've only recently found this place and I really enjoy it. It's nice to be somewhere online where the truly demented don't seem to dominate every forum. I'd reached a point where I ignored all the user commentary because it was so vitriolic. I've only been here a few days, and I've already noted there are some of you with whom I am simpatico.

There's lots to see and participate in here. If you look up, you'll see a tab for Forums & Groups; click it and you'll see a complete listing of every category that we have here. It's not all political, all the time!

Your username immediately caught my eye - Zardoz is one of my all-time favorite movies! I saw "Arthur Frain" in the list of new users, and I knew I wanted to get to know you.
I have to ask, since you have the state of Alaska as your avatar - do you live there?
I lived in Alaska for 6 years, in Willow, in the Mat-Su Borough. My oldest son stayed on after I left, and lives in Anchorage. If you live in Alaska, what part?
