So, how many alerts did it finally take?

Based on the initial responses, it was clear that a jury had been convened at least once, and cleared me. So, again, how many ironically-challenged individuals did it take to get the post hidden?

First off, your link doesn't go anywhere that others can see. cbayer Jun 2014 #1
The original alert took hours to come back - nobody "cleared" you cyberswede Jun 2014 #2
Only 1 jury is ever convened on a post. It took 6 hours for the alert to make it through. uppityperson Jun 2014 #3

Secondly, a post can only be juried once, so it's not clear what your issue is.

I was on that jury, and I submitted my vote less than 10 minutes after you posted that OP. I got the jury results, indicating a hide verdict, SIX HOURS later.

It was also clear from the replies in the thread that most DUers found your OP utterly inappropriate.

This current OP should also be locked as whining about a jury verdict.

It should not take that long for an alert to get through the system, but there was a glitch last night and admin has been informed. You were not the only one wondering what had happened. You should have gotten a pm of the jury results by now since it was hidden 6-1.

If a post is left by a jury, further alerts go directly to Admin, not to another jury. Here is the link to the Moderation System that explains more. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=modsystem

These sorts of queries are best asked in Ask the Administrator forum http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=forum&id=1243
