Serving on Juries

I used to get called up for Jury duty every other day or more often. I haven't been called up now for over a month. It seems like something is wrong here. I wrote to admin a week ago and was told it was just the luck of the draw. This long doesn't seem random; there is something wrong here. My willing to serve profile hasn't been changed, it still says yes.

Any ideas why this is happening?

1. It really is the luck of the draw.

The more you're here, the greater the chance you'll be chosen. Maybe you're not here as much as you were?

Other than that, I cannot think of anything else you can do to increase your chances of being chosen.

2. It looks like you make a post only every 3 days or so (37 posts in 90 days)

Maybe you just aren't on when your name comes up?

I didn't realize it went by how much you actually post. Then it would make sense. Although, I don't think I was posting much before this happened either. I don't know.

I thought there would be some easy fix like clearing cookies or something simple. If it is truly random then wow, going from almost every day to nothing in 5 weeks. What are the odds?

4. I'm not sure that is has anything to do with the number of posts

but more with how much time you are on the site.

Maybe ask Skinner in the ATA group?

6. I believe you become eligible when you refresh your screen or call up something new

Seems I usually get called as soon as I get on DU or when I call up something - to read, reply to or whatever.

Strangely, I was called for a jury as soon as I clicked on your post, LOL. It always seems to happen when I'm in the middle of something - exactly like that. And I went for ages without being called up, too, have no idea why. It did cross my mind that maybe I was on everyone's jury ignore list...

I'm half losing my mind, these days, can't sit down for more than a minute because I found a little kitten in the grocery store parking lot a few weeks ago - so of course I brought him home. He's into everything! He just almost got caught up in the window shade and he'd be hanging from the chandelier, if there was one, LOL. Any advice??

This is him:
