finding a previous thread?

Some times, often in the Lounge, someone starts a thread like this one:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1018&pid=738397

and I would like to find the previous thread to read what this is about. I can't figure out how to do that. I put the OP's name in the search box and a lot of his or her journal entries not about this going way back in time is all that turned up.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

that DU is well known for.

Your best bet is to use your favorite search engine and add the token "site:democraticunderground.com" to your search words.

If you do that, you will pull up three threads about this specific issues.

The easiest way is to use the "Search this Forum" option in the lounge, add her name, select thread titles and use whatever time frame you want (in this case, the last 30 days works fine).
