This is hard to explain, but it happens so often

Sometimes after I've composed an OP or a response, I make some sort of mistake with a rapid finger movement - and it causes me to lose the whole message and can't get it back.

If I accidentally lose it by going to another screen, I can get it back if I use "History," but I don't know how to get it back when I make whatever mistake that is when everything disappears...

Can you figure out what happens and how to retrieve it? Some posts have a lot of work behind them looking up stuff and I hate to have to look up the same material...

Thank you so much.

...and see if your post comes back.

Ctrl-Z is the "Undo" function. If you somehow wiped everything because of a series of ill-fated keystrokes, you might be able to undo the damage with Ctrl-Z.

I will try this today, as it happens almost daily, and always on a long post where I had to check spelling of names, positions, etc.

This probably happens a lot to others who have arthritic fingers...(and poor memories for names)

Thanks again, Handsome..

The text boxes in a web browser are not the greatest place to compose a long post. You might be better off in a text editor program like notepad/notepad++ then you just copy the text to the browser when you are done.

passion sometimes takes the place of good sense, and it's hard to stop once it starts...

Thanks, though. Are you also handsome like SKinner?
