Defines a "large capacity ammunition feeding device" to: (1) mean a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, helical feeding device, or similar device that has an overall capacity of, or that can be readily changed to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition; and (2) exclude an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.

This bill (S. 407 (114th): Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act of 2015) was introduced on February 5, 2015, in a previous session of Congress, but was not enacted.

In the current political climate, H. R. 4052 may have a better chance of passing, but even if it doesn't keeping the public informed of these unnecessary and potentially dangerous devices is worthwhile.
