out of something for fun.
I know some folks who don't own guns but being in a position of authority they get to go to a range and fire all the automatic weapons the county sheriff has. They say it is fun.
I don't know of any other logical reason to have a large capacity magazine.
I don't buy any other gunner explanation for owning them.

I show up, use my issued key to open the gate if I'm the first one there, and start shooting.

Who is going to keep track of the magazines? I suppose we could install some lockers and operate on the honor system, but that would just be a target for thieves. What about people that have shooting ranges in their back yard?

What about when I travel to a shooting competition? Will the new range have magazines for every possible gun, so I can compete?

i don't see why a whole class of items that makes a gun far more dangerous needs to be taken home because you can't be bothered to select a different range.

if you can't find a good range, why should we trust you with a larger magazine?

As I'm saw you noticed, there isn't a lot of demand in congress to change any laws right now.

If you're going to be that way i'm going to tell you this group is for support of gun control. Not only don't you, you're rude about it.

You probably aren't going to last at DU based on wanting to act this way in a safe haven group.
