What if Elizabeth Warren Votes "Yes" on Syria?

I LOVE her. I'm more excited about her than I was with Dean. I think she would make a MAGNIFICENT president. But if she votes "yes" on this debacle, I'm sorry, it's a deal breaker.

What do others think?

100% Agree if she votes for war, I would never vote for her for higher office.

I'm not totally up on Syria, but I do trust her judgement and motivation.

I'm not aware of anyone except Howard who has our interests at heart and could make a viable run.

6. Given what I know about her, I'd *probably* think

that the plan was OK, rather than that Warren is not OK. She has enough of a track record for me to feel that she's very smart, she's a good person, and she's looking out for the 99%.

I think that sometimes it's reasonable to use military force, if it's done thoughtfully and for the right reasons (to reduce human suffering in the larger picture).

I know that Ms. Warren would make a well informed and thoughtful decision.


I don't have to agree with everything that the person I support does or think.


I do have to agree with the way that the person makes the decisions.


It astonishes me that some people would be willing to abandon such a gifted thinker and support someone else who might be a lot more superficial, including the fact that the voted against intervention in Syria simply on the basis of positioning for a primary campaign, rather than choose the person who they think is more intelligent and more honest with their thinking.

10. There are no candidates in the primaries I can support

if she does this. This really is make or break for her. Her potential supporters for a primary run are not war friendly. Frankly if Dean intends on running again, siding with Obama on this is a huge mistake for the exact same reason. Hardly anyone who voted for him in 04, is enthusiastic about this war. Being against a war of choice, was 80% of his appeal.
