Crazy movie question: If you could have any job working on a movie, what would you be?

This will probably sound really strange, but my first choice would be foley artist. That job just looks like a whole lot of fun.

1. Casting.

2. I would work at an artsy repertory movie theatre so I could

see as many movies as possible for free.

3. Clapper board operator for me.

The job is to maintain the clapper board. Others decide what is written on the board. "Scene 8, take 8, CLAP"

4. Film composer! That would be fun too!

But foley artist is a very cool thing!

6. I've played on a number of soundtracks. I'm in all three Grudges --

those include my horror movie noises: fingers tapping on fingerboard -- bow-noise upward and downward glissandos -- bowing behind the bridge -- etc ...

9. Historical consultant.

The number of historical films out there including wild inaccuracies in their narratives is staggering.

But my contract would include a pay-or-play clause. If the director does not follow my historical advice, I'll just take my money and go home.
