OMGAWD......watching DVR copy of Murphy's romance, Sally Field and James Gardner.......

They talked of what’s the towns existence……James Gardner’s character, “ Murphy” just said, “you can buy a gun but can’t get an abortion”. I JUST STARTED SCREAMING……..Ya can’t get an abortion!!!!!!! but ya can BUY A DAMN GUN!!!!! I just screamed at the tv. I love this movie. ?️

the screenplay writers back in the day. Irving Ravetch and Harriet Frank Jr. They also did Norma Rae, Hud and many others.
