Had to be “toned down” because of it’s lesbian story line. 😳 😳 😳 80% tomatoes. Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine and James Garner. A student was punished for telling a lie and her retaliation is she starts a rumor about the two teachers......Hepburn and MacLaine.

Martha, (Shirley MacLaine) kills herself……as she really did love Karen (Audrey Hepburn). What an ending.

3. What a life Lillian Hellman had.....she was brought before the committee on the

House Committee on Un-American Activities…… when she took the fifth on people she knew she couldn’t get work for over a decade. What a life.
