Basic phone for hearing impaired ?

I am looking for suggestions on a basic landline phone for someone who is hearing impaired.
Just for making and receiving phone calls.

I've looked at sites online.
Hoping for some personal experience.

Appreciate all helpful suggestions.
Thanks

My senior center had an info session on just such a phone that was free, but I don't recall name.

https://captioncall.com/ is their website. Their phones are no cost for those with hearing loss.

Mom is not completely deaf but uses pretty strong hearing aids (she's 97!). The CaptionCall phone works well for her, though she has problems using the phone with her hearing aid in. Fortunately, there's an easy-to-use volume control that resolves that problem

At this time I really just need a basic phone on which I can hear better.
They are available from various manufacturers and on Amazon, etc and I've been looking at several but each have some negative reviews which worry me.

Some will say "This is a great phone" while others say "Does nothing!"

I bought one of these on ebay.com for about $25.00 or so. It is plenty LOUD believe me.

It is for a landline as well.

You might consider it. A minimal investment is the way I see it.

Best of luck in this hearing impaired word that I too am living in.

I found out that my cell phone was getting old.
Bought a new one and I can hear fine on it.

Appreciate your input and will save for possible future use.

I bought it used on ebay.com for $20. It works out ok for what it is.

To me $20 is next to nothing to pay for something like this.

It is a bit outdated but it does what it is supposed to do.
