Extremely distracting, self absorbed. Doesn't pay attention to the game.

was up on a ladder, he comes walking up ... and we were eye to eye. The brain doesn't compute stuff like this right away, my thoughts were WTF? I mean when was the last time being up a good distance on a ladder and someone is standing there on the ground staring you in the face. A moment later I recognized him. Was too funny. He was very down to earth great guy. Helped him get some sound equipment and lighting for I guess his home recording studio. Guess he was into live music at the time, probably still is.

He raised funds to build a rec center for a local Boys and Girls Club that now bears his name.

He's donated to help other local nonprofit causes including donating autographed memorabilia for an auction to help local nonprofit public interest media.

He's been through some very difficult physical ordeals. A few years ago he could barely walk, but overcame it.

He's now an avid bicyclist as well as hometown hero.

He may not be a good broadcaster (haven't heard him) but locally everyone who knows him appreciates all that he's done to benefit people in need here in the San Diego inland area.
