to twenty bare stocks in the matter of a couple days. I'm still pissed and its been close to 40 years ago. Some of the best I ever grew too. Started to gather the bastards up and fry them and see how tasty they are.

The hoppers are worse this year. They chew on the bark of the major branches down to the layer just behind the bark (forget the name), and kill the whole branch. I've had other pests just as bad. Inchworms that bore down the middle of a mature bud before you can react. Really did a job on me one year.
