what can i do with all my giant fan leaves?...

...I grow hydroponic and the fan leaves are massive. They are truly works of Natures art! Im finally feeling OK about pulling them off and chucking them but wow surely something can be done with them..besides using them as garnish. Any suggestions?

would be the best I can think of, beings there are some nutrients left in them.

People I know have been throwing them away for the last 40 years.
