Regulate and prevent diabetes
With its impact on insulin, it only makes sense that cannabis can help regulate and prevent diabetes. Research conducted by the American Alliance for Medical Cannabis (AAMC) has linked cannabis to stabilise blood sugars, lower blood pressure, and improve blood circulation.

1. I recall years ago reading that cannabis has more tar than cigarettes.

2. I read the same thing years ago. The article I read also said you don't inhale as much cannibis

smoke as cig's. I believe the aforementioned article is making the point about lung capacity. By holding your breath I assume will increase capacity. Most of us just use the upper ⅔'s of our lungs. Deep breathing (as in yoga) gets vital oxygen down to the lower lobes of the lung. YMMV.
I'm a cheap date.. one hit and I'm down for the count.

3. I don't know about losing weight... The rare times I smoke I get the munchies BAD....

IF I have to loose a few pounds the first off my list is cannabis.. Especially edibles...
No refrigerator or cupboard is safe with me around...

i lost a lot of weight. too much, even.
it cleared out the brain fog and it has been pretty remarkable.

i also have osteoarthritis, and nothing hurts these days. in fact, my knobby joint on one of my fingers has gone down. wound healing is also much better/faster than it used to be.

interesting shit.

eta- also straightened out my shitty cholesterol numbers. went from atrocious even w a statin to perfect.
