Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumResults of canvassing in Conway, NH today.
It was my first time out on the trail, and the nerves were a little restless for the first few encounters with voters. All in all it went really well! Most people weren't home, but of the ones I managed to talk to the majority were Bernie supporters, a few Hillary supporters, and a few were undecided. We (my girlfriend and I) even managed to recruit a new volunteer that wasn't on our list. One guy did slam the door on us, but I guess that's just par for the course. If you haven't gotten out and done door to door campaigning yet I suggest you do it. It's actually pretty fun and the results are tangible. There's going to be a huge (YOOGE) get out the vote campaign the weekend leading up to the primary so if anybody has been interested in volunteering in NH that will be your chance.

(14,177 posts)wowsers. That has never happened to me. Maybe it is a Minnesota thing. I kinda doubt it. I don't think Minnesotans are really nicer. Anyway, good news. I hope the door slammer gets over his anger issues.

(51,907 posts)If I get any kind of survey call when I'm running late for a meeting, I get really really irritated. Usually I don't take it out on the person contacting me, but I suspect that one of these days I just might be dealing with too much other shit.
