Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forum~*The Official Bernie Sanders Democratic Debate Thread!*~
Alright people, let's settle in with familiar company and enjoy this together. This is the first debate after Bernie's big win, and from what I read on CNN's what to expect article, things aren't looking good for Hillary.
Here's where you'll watch it: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/updates/watch-live-pbs-newshour-democratic-primary-debate/
I suggest streaming through PBS because, CNN has enough attention.
Let's hunker down team, and enjoy the ride!

Yet there are still millions who are uninsured or under insured, people who can't afford medications, people who are dying prematurely or becoming disabled for no other reason than the fact that we do not have affordable healthcare.

(24,411 posts)But I did hear some post Iowa info about Latino voters breaking heavily in Iowa for Sanders and being instrumental in him doing well in many of the biggest counties.
I heard this directly from a LULAC leader.

(16,327 posts)That was one of the talking points we've seen the campaign start to throw around, including here. I can smell the stench of desperation out here in CA.

Glad to see Sen. Sanders hitting back.

And then threw a real good curve ball about her debate with Obama about Iran in 2008 and it cooled her heels.

She just really makes me want to scream when she pulls that crap.

(48 posts)Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' Secret Service code name is... Intrepid.
"The Bill Press Show" broke the news about the Democratic presidential candidate on its Twitter feed on Thursday morning,
According to Merriam-Webster, the word intrepid is "characterized by resolute fearlessness, fortitude and endurance."

Bernie needs to start dinging her every time she tries to ride Obama's coat tails: That's not what you said in 2008!"
For me, Obama's coat tails have been dragged through Republican shit. That would not inspire me to vote for her. The opposite, in fact.
