Tim Canova fighting Debbie Wasserman Schultz

If you are able he is asking for donations.

His letter his morning -

Dear (TBF),

There were 12,554 registered federal lobbyists when President Obama directed the Democratic National Committee to stop accepting contributions from them.

Now, there are thousands more federal lobbyists in the post-Citizens United world — and Debbie Wasserman Schultz has opened the floodgates for them to influence the priorities of the Democratic Party by reversing President’s Obama ban. It’s disappointing and disturbing, and I wish I could say that any of us were shocked by the actions of a corrupt establishment. But I’m not.

Since we blew the whistle on Wasserman Schultz’s reversal of the ban, hundreds of people from across the country have sent a message to the DNC by contributing to our campaign. The average contribution is only $16.21. I’m very proud of that. But I know it will require even more to take back our country and our political party from Wasserman Schultz and her big donors.

Help raise $12,554 — one dollar for every registered lobbyist who now has influence in the Democratic Party thanks to Debbie Wasserman Schultz — by contributing $16.21 today. If you’d like to donate another amount, you can select one of the buttons below:

DONATE $10
DONATE $25
DONATE $50
DONATE $100
DONATE $200

You can’t reform a broken campaign finance system if you benefit from it — and it has become clear that Debbie Wasserman Schultz is too far entrenched in the Democratic establishment and Wall Street cabal to be a part of our reform movement. That’s why we have to shock the establishment, by defeating Wasserman Schultz in the August primary.

It will be difficult to hit this goal. Some would say it’s too lofty. But I believe in the power of this revolution and I have faith that supporters like you will step up for our campaign. Together, we can and will win this election.

Can you join us today?

Make a contribution to my campaign today. Let’s take back our country and our party.

With gratitude,

Tim Canova https://timcanova.com/

- PROGRESSIVE TIM CANOVA CHALLENGING DWS' Florida Congressional seat, Jan. 15 Interview with Thom Hartmann -

Professor of Law and Public Finance, TIM CANOVA, a Democrat is challenging Rep. Wasserman-Schultz this year for US Congressional Representative from Florida's 23rd District. Canova focuses on Wasserman-Schultz' local record, points out that she is not doing a good job of representing residents in her district in south Florida, that she supports the interests and sides with big corporations and Wall Street, and he says she has many critics in the area.
Canova claims the Congresswoman's support for corporations and voting the interests of Wall Street include: the TPP and fast track, taking money from and supporting privatized prisons, opposing medical marijuana, voting for Wall Street in preventing consumer protections and regulation of pay day loans and racial discrimination in car loans.

As Democratic National Committee Chair on the national level, Wasserman-Schultz is viewed by many as turning the Democratic organization into a glorified arm of the Hillary Clinton campaign and restricting media exposure for Democratic candidates Sanders and O'Malley by having only six Democratic Presidential Debates adversely scheduled on weekends and holidays.
During Wasserman-Schultz' DNC role the Democratic Party also lost a staggering number of seats nationally and on the state and local level esp. election years 2010 and 2014. Will the FL Congresswoman and DNC Chair's unpopularity factor into losing her Florida US Congressional seat? Canova believes the current wave of populism is the future. ->Wasserman- Schultz' recent decision to open up more lobbyist funding to the DNC, against Pres. Obama's ban is yet another example of how she is undermining the people's voice, corrupting the DNC and is unfit for positions as Chair of the DNC and Florida Congress member.

Let Little Debbie hit the unemployment line.

Of course, for her it would be the revolving door, corporate lobbyist line.
