I think a poll was posted here the morning of the caucuses showing her five points ahead of him.

No one expected him to come that close in Nevada, either, even with all the shenanigans.

But, no, I don't see him winning South Carolina, even at that.

If she wins by more than 20%, then the media would be all over it -that it's over for Bernie. But of course, we know that's not true, he's doing very well in many of the upcoming states. And he's got the money to run a winning campaign.
And you know, she may win pretty big in SC. But I don't think that BLM protester video will do her any good with AA voters going into other primaries. The MSM seem to be doing their best to suppress it for now because SC primary's upon us, but it's not gonna go away. Just like those transcripts.

Is a poll of 650 likely Democratic voters.

The Palmetto Poll surveyed voters statewide. The sample was of 650 voters who said they were voting in the upcoming primary. To be included in the poll a person had to have voted in two of the past three statewide primary elections. Our cell phone percentage was just under 20 percent for this survey. Calling began on February 20 and concluded on February 25. The error estimate is plus or minus 3 points for a survey of this size. All respondents were asked if they were going to vote in the upcoming Democratic primary, and were only included if they said they were voting.

Must have voted in 2 of the last 3 statewide primaries and 80%+ with landline phones. If you are looking to survey an older crowd, there you go. She always does well with the older crowds.

Just numbers to dishearten the Bernie crowd. Not real demographic of the state.

He's down by huge numbers in South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, New Jersey, etc. Doesn't seem he has a path to the nomination, but I think he should keep going as long as he has the money to do so. He brings very important dialogue to the national discussion, even as the mainstream media tries to ignore him.

it is that you never, ever, ever give up. Ever.

You meet, you put up signs, you call, you go door to door. Yes, SC and Texas are long shots. SC with AA vote, Texas with AA and Latino votes. But Bernie is smashing conventional wisdom and folks are showing us that they are individuals capable of making up their own minds. We'll see how it all shakes out.

Worst case - it's what we expect in these so-called "SEC" states, we all send in a few more small donations, and Bernie moves on to the states where he's more favored.

Anyone, even without experience, can volunteer even for just 2 or 3 hours.

The absolute most critical thing we can do is get out the damned vote, and the campaigns in each state have done the work to ID voters they need to contact for Election Day.

This can't be overstated. These are proportional assignments of delegates, not winner take all, so every vote counts.

If Sanders over-performs there, even if he does not win it, he will maintain (or increase) his current momentum (See also IA and NV).

Super Tuesday has some hurdles, too. The same applies in many of those states.

If he makes through those without losing too much momentum, we'll get to states he should have a better time in.

I would also recommend staying out of GD-P this weekend. The gloating by HRC supporters will be unendurable!
