...is that the Clinton campaign fought dirty and lost. It shows that the electorate was too savvy to reward a campaign based on lies, and goes a long way to restoring my faith in the voting public. An honest victory for Hillary would still have been a blow, but to see her win like that would have been too much to take in.

(507 posts)are that we've all heard/read people say that there isn't any difference in the candidates. "All politicians are corrupt."
I'm inclined to think that if a person sees all politicians as being corrupt and evil then they will naturally turn to a candidate who has no qualms about lying and who is more skilled in the game of artful smears.
For them it is to win at all costs.
I actually read someone saying that exact thing.

(1,571 posts)And not just The over the Hill gang. The whole media circus was bearing down on him with the usual ploys done thick and dirty. And it did not work. It scares them. They broke their only tool, and it appears to be spraying back in their faces. The game has changed.
