I'm thinking it's time to start inspecting Hillary's voting record. Not to only look at the bills

she voted on BUT the amendments that were thrown into those bills. That's how it works in the Senate. They'll have a bill to fund the government but the only way Senators x,y & z will vote for it is if xxxxx is added to the bill. And the bill wouldn't pass without those 3 votes. It's called negotiating.

All this shit she has thrown at Bernie were amendments that were added to the bills.

It's so slimy. But it's time for payback.

It's going to take some work, research. Bernie does not have a Brock operation.

Anyone up for a little research work? Maybe if there is enough of us we can each take one bill that we each research.

Nothing but disgusting pandering! Had anyone even burned a flag lately? Showed me her true colors then and turned me for Obama.

how HRC spun it now and her supporters are. The people that she tried to hook with that know it was bullshit. They saw how moderators let that shit stand and pooed them. Now I highly dought they where all Bernie supporters call me crazy but I can not imagine DNC stacking the house for Sanders. It seemed he defended him self and she look like a frazzled lying sore loser.
And then she doubled down with it with the Koch bullshit. Did she not learn a fucking thing from 2008. Democrats for most part do not like negativity.

She probably could of just keep cool and coasted rest of way off her name and doing good talking points. But noo she went all GOP and it was noticed. Even NYT called her on her bullshit.

That said the way she stretched the truth at the last 2 debates really struck a nerve. The Koch brothers??? Seriously. She is a very vindictive woman. She deserves having some mud thrown back at her.

Hillary looked ridiculous trying to make those smears on Bernie in the last 2 debates. It is a sign of how clean Bernie's record is that Hillary's sleazy opposition research team led by Brock, plus the rest of the corporate media that is rooting for her, couldn't come up with anything substantive.

Twenty years ago, a candidate could hit an opponent with a smear and by the time it was debunked a few days later (with much of the public never seeing it had been debunked), there were new smears to respond to. Now in the age of social media, smears can be debunked immediately. David Axelrod debunked Hillary's claim on Sunday night that Bernie didn't support the auto bailout within minutes on Twitter, before the debate was over. The Washington Post publishes 16 anti Bernie stories, somebody documented that, it goes all over the internet and the next day a reporter writing for the Washington Post is trying to justify it. The Daily Beast, owned by IAC who has Chelsea Clinton on its board, has been exposed as a tool of the Clinton campaign with repeated smears on Bernie and puff pieces on Hillary. The same goes for corporate media like MSNBC and CNN, who bring on one Hillary operative after another and include the superdelegates in their tallies to make Bernie's campaign look hopeless.

People are seeing through all this garbage. They've seen it from the Clintons for 25 years. Now their smears are like the children's taunt: "I'm rubber, you're glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you." It just drives Hillary's negatives up even higher if that's possible. And I think it helps Bernie because it makes people see just how far the corporate establishment extends and how the Clintons are in bed with them. That plays right into Bernie's message.

There are so many substantive arguments against Hillary, most of which Bernie has already pointed out (hawkish and wrong on defense, wrong on major trade deals, wrong on criminal justice issues in the 90's, a tool of corporate interests and the 0.1%, a flip flopper, etc.). Bernie should continue to focus on his message and contrasting his record with Hillary's. Let her throw the mud. It is not hurting Bernie and is reminding voters of why they don't like her. It is also making her look desperate.

Bernie. He does not need to stoop down to her level. But no harm in his supporters knowing that included in the bills she voted for were some shady amendments.

...that is exactly what should be happening right now.

Earlier today I had a similar thought and went looking for her votes and commentary on them. One thing I found was that she was one of only two Senators who voted against the 2002 Help America Vote Act, or HAVA. Chuck Schumer was the only other nay vote in the Senate.

The bill was a response to the 2000 election debacle, and it also enhanced and protected the voting rights of military people who are out of country, as well as other Americans abroad and also absentee and early voters.

I wonder why she voted against it? Why was she against protecting the voting rights of our military?

(To be fair, apparently she later sponsored her own voting bill and voted for others. But why be fair? I mean, in general, one should be; but when one's opponent habitually hits below the belt, one is entitled to respond in kind IMO.)

BTW her voting record can be found here:

as a senator. he has no record. i heard this yesterday on democracy now from dolores huerta - she actually stated that the only thing he has done in 25 years is work on the vet bill, on cnn this morning as a reason that there is nothing to vet him on, and on faux this afternoon - he has no history.
