If You Were At The Bernie Rally Last Night In Chicago....

Tell us about it. When did he finally arrive? How big was the crowd? What time did it end?

I couldn't make it down there and the live feeds sucked. So I would just like to experience it through somebody that actually attended.

I don't live anywhere near Chicago (I'm in NC, also with a primary today), but it was a capacity crowd of about 4000 and the person who was doing the live feed said she was hearing that there were thousands more outside. It was a typical enthusiastic crowd. What I could see of the crowd on the feed was young and racially diverse. Bernie's voice was about shot. I cut out just before I thought it was about to conclude and it was after 12:30 Chicago time. There were some people who spoke before Bernie, Jonathan Jackson and Julia Sweeney from SNL plus a couple of comedian/singers. If my memory is correct, Bernie started around 11:30 or so Chicago time.

Hopefully somebody who was there will respond.
