We update our computers every few years, cell phones more, but not our voting machine technology?

Gambling has more restrictions and open source codes to view to make sure it's not hacked. In this country? We are not allowed to look.

What a mess we have. I always wished Jimmy Carter would step in here at home during these so called elections, instead of making sure everyone has hand counted paper ballots, purple fingers, etc.

it's even easier to put up roadblocks to voting like reducing the number of voting sites or switching the party of the voter or suppressing the vote by ID requirements or any number of other requirements that should be illegal and in a just society would result in heavy fines and even jail time for the people or parties pulling such shenanigans.
