Wow, from 2/2 to 3/1, that is awesome--and all from turning one person.

I'm sure that was a terrific experience. And I agree, I'm in it for the long haul.

Glad to have you back. I always appreciate your posts. Great night to return. Welcome back!

I am just feeling ambivalent about this site and the time. But I loved this morning and am well excited to do a part two in a few weeks and watch those other delegates!

Artislife, this is so nice. I'd PM'd somebody my feelings about what they did to you and she just PM'd the news that you're back!

And it's wonderful that you are a delegate now! That is so cool!! Bernie's got a good delegate in you. And you'll be with people who believe in what's good and right for our country and its people and that will be nice for you.

Were you able to go to the yuuge rally?

I'm just so happy now.

Welcome back and to hell with the bad guys.

It was good to take a breather and do something else for a few days. The weather has been beautiful and though I had to work with a client last night, I made sure I was up and at the caucus early.

I saw your post in that thread backing me up. You have always been with me!

Anyway, this morning, the Precinct captain was not thrilled to see all these Bernie supporters at her table. It was a nice mix of ages and genders. We had the PoC on our side... a Tibetian, two Muslims from Pakistan and Australian all naturalized citizens (plus me the Latina). My neighbor and another woman made up the disabled and we had only two youngins...like 19 and 20 year olds.
The hillary supporters were one young woman then a men and women over 45 (I think I am being generous)

The Hillary supporter we turned was a woman in her 50s, she was put off because as soon as the PCapt. got the Hillary supporters she said, NO one change your votes..She was pretty peeved and kept saying this was a Democratic Caucus. Well..there isn't any other kind in WA....lol

Anyway, the woman, who is now an alternate Delegate, kind of backed away and the nice soft spoken guy talked to her for a minute and she was ours!

I brought a paper with what the TPP was, the words of hillary talking about the Honduran coup and a voter fraud number.

When the woman swapped over, the Pcapt was whispering to another woman and the Tibetian...she was watching everything like a hawk...to the chagrin of the main man and our Pcapt. She even said to them when they gave her push back...well we all saw Iowa! LOL

Anyway, she said something is going on...sure enough, with the delegate coming to our side it made the numbers be 24/13 which gave us the new delegate.

It must have been a very interesting experience for you, especially with winning the lady over for Bernie! Now that's got to feel good! In helping to get a new delegate, you know for sure you've done something to help him. Sounds like there were nice Bernie peeps but some tension with the Hill supporters. After my experiences here on DU, I'm not sure I could stand to be around them, lol.

I love the materials you brought, the paper on TPP, the Honduran coup, and voter fraud. Really good. If I ever start in phone banking again, I'll try to have that kind of information ready as well as Bernie info.

Good for you, artislife. BTW, I can understand your username because the amazing teachers who brought art and literature into my life gave me something solid and real that has lasted a lifetime.

Thanks so much!

but then saw the Bernie/Trump lunch gif and can't stop laughing. So cute!

Anyway, the "DEMOCTRATIC SOCIALISM OR CORPORATE SOCIALISM" phrase has a consciousnes-raising quality and I might want to use it too if you don't mind.
