Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumJust watched a part of Charlie Rose interview of Sanders.
Apparently it's alright if Clinton attacks Sanders, but when he defends himself from team Hilly's attacks he's at fault

Damn but Rose was so viciously biased that he would qualify to work for Fox. I'll never watch him ever again.
Bernie was getting angry too. Worst interview I've ever seen of Bernie.

(2,388 posts)to Hillary. I've watched Charlie for awhile now and know where his loyalties
lie...with the establishment in general.
But here's the deal. Bernie took the bait and by his own admission these tit-for-tat
types of exchanges are nonsense and why so many people are SICK AND TIRED of
negative politics. He needs to stick to his "issues only" lane as much as possible and not get
caught in these obvious traps.
I know that's easy for anyone not in the midst of the storm to say. But he needs to
take a big time out RIGHT NOW and regroup with his staff and figure out how to stay
above the fray in N.Y. especially. He needs to trust people's ability to see through
the mud slinging. God knows we've all had plenty of experience with that and THAT
is a primary reason many have fallen in line behind him. He needs to remember this.

To calculate his success in monetary terms, Roses net worth results to $ 20 million. Charlie met his wife Mary King while attending Duke and was married to her for twelve years before having a divorce. Since 1993 Rose has been with his partner Amanda Burden who is a socialite and chairman of the New York City Planning Commission and director of the city department of planning. That's how corruption works. And that's why it's so insidious.
Its siren song is almost impossible to resist.
That's what makes people like Bernie Sanders, Bill Moyers, Amy Goodman, and just a few others so extraordinary.
Make no mistake: None of these people is perfect. And some may still follow the crowd over to the Dark Side. But for the time being, each demonstrates a strength of character that most of us can't even dream of matching.
You can't truly know how you'll react until you've been tempted.

Too, what WAS that not so secret meeting with Biden all about? You never know. Hell, I'd vote for Gary Johnson again (former gov of NM) as he is off the charts liberal now and is a recovering Republican.

(8,812 posts)Perhaps you've heard her interview with Bill Moyers when she talked about her meeting with then-First Lady Hillary Clinton about the bankruptcy bill.
Yet when Clinton became Senator, everything changed. When the bankruptcy bill came up again, she voted for it. Warren explained:
I think the lesson from this episode is not so much about the corruption of Hillary Clinton (although that's definitely part of it), but about our system's ability to corrupt all but a precious few. Some embrace this corruption enthusiastically. Others reluctantly make a deal with the Devil and then wake up one morning to find that they're no longer the courageous public servant they thought they were.
