After a trial, the powers that be deemed it a bad idea and dropped the unrec option .

In a previous version of DU you had the option to Rec or Unrec a post. The posts with the most net Recs (Recs minus Unrecs) were displayed in the Recs tally.

A lot of members, mainly the most vocal minority here, had their posts sink to the bottom of the Marianas Trench faster than you can say .

They complained very loudly and that feature was eliminated.

The turd way turds that used to sink were allowed to float.

That is about when DU turned to shit and became a right wing sanctuary, 2012ish.

Has anyone else noticed not being called for juries anymore? About the time a bunch of the assholes were released form jail early and I was banned from you know where, I stopped receiving jury duty. also I've noticed people being alerted for no reason in the Bernie group as well. WTF?

before that, it was nearly every day, sometimes twice in one day. I got my first hide on April 19, which supposedly only cuts my odds of being on a jury by 20%. In practice it's more like 100%, at least for some. Seems to mirror the general attitude of the corrupt establishment Dems, i.e., our way or the highway.

I figured the owners are quietly blocking some of us.

I posted a cheeky comment in a jury trying to block one of kath's posts. I fessed up it was me. That was the last jury I served on - March 21.

My profile says I'm still eligible but I went from 1-2/day before that to zip.
