Bernie Sanders

but I do have to shine some light on a poster that is not telling the truth in a protected group
New Hillary supporter
I came to DU a month ago, wanting to connect with other Bernie supporters. Instead, I found a group of insecure, mean, close-minded people who don't realize the value of civil discourse and courteous discussion of the issues that we are all concerned with as Democrats. I hate to say it, but I believe that the BS wing of the party really seems like a cult. I just can't blindly follow their circular logic anymore. I even got banned from their group for suggesting that the attacks on fellow Dems be toned down.
When it comes time to vote in the California primary, my vote will go to Hillary...and I will do my best to convince other's to support her as well.

This is not at all true, lets look at the posts...
Day one

It does make it harder for the middle and lower classes to feel a kinship.

Day two
He will have to develop some sort of faith. It just seems empty (and even pandering) that an avowed agnostic is touting a visit with the head of a church he was not raised in, or seemingly has any connections. I could never vote for a candidate who does not think that some divine intervention is needed in such a powerful job.
Before anyone bashes me, I dont yet firmly support either candidate. I have been going back and forth between the two my state doesnt vote until June. There are great things about both, and things I really dont like about both but the faith issue with Sanders really bothers me. And honestly, a connection with the Catholic church doesn't really fly. Why pick the most oppressive, wealthiest, and corrupt of all?

He admits on day two he was not a Bernie supporter
And this seems to be the post that got the person blocked, not what he stated at all

(14,255 posts)At this point, they are just performing for each other and giggling obscenely; I sincerely doubt any Bernie supporter is taken in.
Really, any time I read an OP that is a Bernie, BUT thing, or any command or cry for unity - Full ignore. I don't care how long a poster has been here.

(42,641 posts)If the point of DU is to allow open debate and posting of relevant information. A shame.

(16,974 posts)but I still put some sunlight on the poster so people can see what they are actually like. Sad they have to hide and post untrue information from a protected area.

(32,324 posts)And unlike me, he probably owns his own house too!
He might have utilized a mortgage to get possession of that house, yet he has the audacity to
go and claim he doesn't have much to do with bankers?
And when will he ever release his 2015, 2016 and 2017 tax returns? Just what is he hiding?

How many drugs does a person have to do, for that to make sense?
