Thank you to the DUer who shared this with me; I trashed the Hillary Group some time ago so I wouldn't be tempted to be rude to them in their "safe space" but I certainly never expected to be the object of that type of vendetta.

Do they not know how the "trash thread" feature works if they want to keep playing "let's pretend it didn't happen"?
This is just unreal.

(10,559 posts)By the way, you keep self deleting some of your posts. Any reason in particular? (Some of them were really good!)

(1,558 posts)I tend to speak from the heart, and in doing so, I may occasionally reveal some tidbits of personal information.
(What people do not realize, is that my posts are intended to be provocative)
See my thread in the Gungeon about buying an AR-15
I got people all fired up and they won't come down.
Even though every one of my posts after the OP admitted I was just pushing for a debate on ideas.
Thank you for the complement.

(1,217 posts)Some asshat alerted om me yesterday for a freaking cartoon of HRC taking a lie detector test and I got my first hide. They are out enmasse going after Berners for the weakest of transgressions. My alert on the alert to manipulate the admins read that this is one reason DU is losing members.
We got your back.

Which is what you should do, Ida, just ignore them.

I did come here to whine, but I'm better now.

(5,141 posts)validation and support. You're certainly not whining.

(55,981 posts)to mock that statement, but I won't. It's never easier to alert, ridicule, hide, lock or ban. To refute requires tooo much thinking.
Some issues they cant refute because they aren't sure what their "choosen one's" current position is. Clinton is a master of rhetoric. For example she says she is against the current wording of the TPP. She isn't saying she wouldn't support it if some wording was changed, she actually doesn't say anything. So if you ask one of her "followers", they don't have a clue how to think about the TPP.

(45,093 posts)That OP was posted in an open area where they could refute it or respond to it but instead they hide behind alerts.
Please alert this post to the administrators.
The post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=1880685
I alerted it and was informed that a jury had already voted to leave it alone. So I alerted the administrators. The more alerts they receive on the post, the more seriously they will consider it.
Here's how to alert the administrators about a post that already was alerted on:
First click on 'alert abuse.' Then you will receive an email saying that an alert was already sent and the jury voted to leave the post alone. Then click on 'alert abuse' again and a box will pop up saying the alert is being sent to the administrators. You have the option to type a comment and it will be sent along with your alert.
Thanks.
ETA: Note to any Sandernistas trolling through the HRC GROUP; You're probably on my "fool" ignore list, so if you reply here and I don't respond it's not because you've stumped me with your Ross Perot/Ron Paul-style of crushing "logic." Have a nice life. Or don't.
You notice none of them could be bothered to attempt to refute it in an open area, instead they run and hide and alert from their little corner?

(10,622 posts)They are becoming quite brazen about their alert stalking, they used to plot such things on a different site hidden from pubic view, Now they do it right in the open here, also adding alert spamming to the alert stalking adds a whole new dimension to sleazy tactics that such Right wing type individuals use.
I bet even the GOP is picking up some pointers from both the Clinton campaign and the supporters regarding dirty tricks, the brock sock army of paid trolls alone, I am sure is inspiring the GOP to new lows in tactics she first learned from them and is now trying to perfect beyond anything even Rove dreamt up.

(29,250 posts)around here while they curl their lips and spit all the time... It's getting filthier all the time with their hateful vitriol. It feels great to read a strong post for Bernie - or a strong post against Clinton. It seems the posts against Bernie are primarily nonsubstantive, just baldly trashing him. When we put something substantive up it's similarly trashed, again without substance.
I think about giving up GD-P sometimes. More and more.

(11,546 posts)they can't stand up to you or the TRUTH so they try and bully you. "I'm telling on her!!" it reminds me of bullies who, once someone stood up to them, went running to the teacher or their parents. All because their candidate is a bad candidate, a liar, a cheat and an all around terrible person.
