Feeling the Bern

Is it me or have HRC fans gotten more shrill, snarky, arrogant, haughty, aggressive

and down right mean spirited as this election season continues?

It seems to me they are bringing back PUMA they threatened in 2008, only now they are telling Bernie supporters to go away because they don't need us. And instead of building bridges, they insult people who question the queen!

Nothing they are doing makes me want to vote for her. And nothing she has said has earned her my vote.

PUMA stands for Pole Up My Arse.

That's gotta be it, right? They seem very moody. Not a fun kind of people.

She hired David Brock to run her internet outreach PAC before her campaign even officially started, and it's been dirty as dirty can be from the moment Sanders announced. She's run the most despicable campaign I've ever seen, and that includes Trump's, tho' Trump is learning.

How can anyone forget that her campaign put out the line that "Berniebros" are racist, misogynist, sexist, old white men?
It's still going on, the same despicable fuckers who've been all over DU promoting that line were unleashed by a blanket amnesty given by one of Brock's tools.

No, they aren't getting worse, that isn't possible. But Brock hired a shitload of new P2Pers and they got a bulk deal from the DU admin, so it's the same but thicker.

Except for this sub-forum, this place is a sewer and I can hardly bear to open it to read it anymore.

Which means they are no longer democratic. We should call the Hillarians the Oligarchic Party.

And she's gotta be sittin' pretty with whatever the new drivers at MSNBC are payin' her to forget her progressive beginnings. Big money corrupts, BIG time. Hell, lookit Howard Dean of late. He finally realized that he LOVED the corporate Kool-ade.

said, done and is on the record for. . .you know, her record.

I'm a mean spirited, angry, sexist, typical "Bernie Bro" that isn't a real Democrat and should go back to the Republicans where I believe, since Republicans love Bernie because he supports the NRA.

Funny him and Earlg stated many times the jury system was working fine and there was no evidence of alert stalking.

I was skimming through the Forums and inadvertently, I stepped into a HC Supporters group. I didn't even know it as I didn't have "See Everything" Turned on. Someone was ranting about Bernie, how he needed to get his sorry a** to the Senate, get all of his voting privileges and his ranking memberships taken away. I countered (again unknowing it was a landmine) with a harmless snark--not vulgar in any way, and I was told to get my hateful spew out of there. Someone pointed out that I may have been in the wrong forum.

Seeing my mistake, I left, but the group reminded me of what the HC supporters call "Bernie Bros". I've not encountered those types personally as most of the Berniecrats I know are former Clarkies, Edwards, O'Malley, or Kerrycrats. But the experience was like being in a well with the digger pouring mud instead of drawing water (to put it nicely, you can visualize what I'm getting at).

I don't have as many posts at the DU even though I've been around since 2004. I'm at DK, twitter, or FB most of the time.

Incidentally, a jury of 5-2 stopped the thread, so I guess I wasn't far off about the viciousness of that comment.

What I see from them is what a headline from the Guardian read today:

Why Must the Trump alternative be self-satisfied, complacent Democrat?

It's worth a read.

If they are OK with Hillary being part of the Metropolitan Wing of the Party (an expression Dem Strategist Mudcat Saunders Says about the Democratic Party at present):

The party’s leadership is largely drawn from a satisfied cohort that has done quite well in the aftermath of the Great Recession. They’ve got a good thing going. Convinced that the country’s ongoing demographic shifts will bring Democratic victory for years to come, they seem to believe the party’s candidates need do nothing differently to harvest future electoral bumper crops. The seeds are already planted. All that is required is patience.

Hillary Clinton is more or less openly offering herself as the complacency candidate. The least inspiring frontrunner in many years, she is a dynastic heir who stands to receive the Democratic nomination largely because it’s her turn – the logic that made Bob Dole the GOP leader in 1996

I guess I'm not one of them and haven't been for quite some time.
