Remember when we told you our opponent was getting ready to launch an aggressive ad campaign to rebrand herself as a progressive? Well, it’s happening. Her campaign has been sending out slick mail pieces this week to presumably tens of thousands of Democratic primary voters in the district talking about how she has “fought for our progressive values.”
We need you to make an urgent contribution of $3 to help our campaign fight back against the deceptive messaging tactics of our opponent’s campaign. Give now.
This is the beginning of a larger attempt to deceive the voters and save Wasserman Schultz from our grassroots campaign. We know the truth about her time in Washington. It is not progressive to stand with loan sharks and Republicans to deregulate standards for payday lenders. It is not progressive to take hundreds of thousands of money from Goldman Sachs and other big banks. It is not progressive to reverse President Obama’s ban on federal lobbyists donating to the Democratic National Committee.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is not a progressive. Tim Canova has stood for progressive values and policies for his entire career. As Tim says,“it’s not progressive if it’s not progress for all!”
