Related: About this forumMy friend in CA had his registration status changed! Something screwy going on AGAIN
My friend in CA just posted this on facebook, it's the first time I've encountered someone I know personally who has had it happen to them.
I know it's been said and posted before if you know anyone in CA make sure to tell them to do exactly what my friend is doing - keep checking the status!

(9,745 posts)he was showing as inactive, and then corrected it for him. It was not that he entered anything wrong.

(62 posts)I am still an active Dem, waiting for June 7 to vote for Bernie. Use the link below to the CA Sec. Of State to check your status.

(75,480 posts)how many Californians are going to find out too late that their registration has been compromised?btw I have been voting from the same address for twenty years. Since what they told me was that they didn't have my drivers license I'm thinking the software on the data base is missing stuff when the information was transferred at some recent time although the county official I talked to couldn't say what happened.
All Californians call your county clerks office and verify your registration.

(2,565 posts)We had moved and she updated records via DMV and everything went screwy.
I was non-declared for party and even though I didn't HAVE TO join the party to vote, I went the safe route and registered democrat for the primary (and have my card just incase anything comes up). I will leave the party the day after I cast my vote and go back to non-declared.
