He's what Hillary wants to run against: she can run against his misogyny and racism rather than having to run on ideas of how to help the country. When Bernie came along, her whole campaign had been designed to run on sexism and racism, so she made Bernie into a sexist/racist.

Trump is just acting the role he was born for.
