(36,988 posts)Is anybody else concerned with the result from Kentucky? 5.3% of the vote (nearly 25,000 people) voted as 'undecided.' That's almost 1 in 20 voters... is this statistically sound?

Comparison of 2008 vs 2016 Primaries:
2008 Kentucky Primary results = 701,166 total votes, 2.6% (18,059 voters) were uncommitted.
2016 Kentucky Primary results, = 454,609 total votes, 5.3% (24,122 votes) were uncommitted
There are 246,557 less voters (-35%) in this year's primary, yet 6,063 (+33%) more uncommitted voters compared to 2008's totals
